Trading stops in Slough

Slough traded for the last time on Saturday 5th August and Partners and customers were immensly sad to see Waitrose close after 37 years of trading in the town centre (five years in the new branch, and 32 years in the original shop).

The decision to close was due to the financial position of the branch it had been deteriorating for some time.

About 80 percent of Partners will be relocated to nearby branches, some will take early retirement, while a few have opted for redundancy.
