Bracknell Headquarters Office block transformed

The office nears completion in 1971. The builders allowed for growth by building the lift shaft so it could acccommodate a fourth floor - little did they know that two extra floors would be required
When the main office block was first built, it provided Waitrose with just over 50,000 sq. ft. of space.
Today the addition of two extra floors in 1980, there is some 70,000 sq. ft. of office space in the main block and an additional 45,000 sq. ft. of office space at the North West site, which Waitrose bought from Air Products in 1988.
