Cooking bonds team
Receptionists across the Bracknell Campus are used to working front of house, but they recently went behind the scenes in the Taylor House kitchen in a Ready Steady Cook style team challenge.
SM Reception, Post & Support Services Emma Gutteridge explains: “I wanted to work on my teams’ development, initiative and bond. It was a great opportunity for me to get to know them all a little bit better too, as I have only line managed them for a short while”.
With Catering Partners Keiron Daniels, Derek Sheppard and Maria Pereira overlooking the cooking, the receptionists divided into teams of three. They each worked on a course, working against the clock.
Receptionist Karen Pratt says “It was great fun all working together to create a fabulous menu”.
