Waitrose Bracknell as it was then

It’s twenty-one-years ago this month since Waitrose moved to Bracknell.  In the photo taken in the early days, are several differences, which highlight how much things have changed.

A – The A329 road was not then built.   B – The lift machinery and sitting out area were on the roof.   C – The main office block consisted of only a ground floor and three upper floors.   D – The present FRV warehouse had not been built.   E – The two Partners’ car parks had also not been built.   F – The road called Oldbury, which now leads to a new industrial office area, did not exist.   G – The annex, which now houses part of the Bracknell dining room, had not been built.
