Goldsworth Park: Tree Planting

Goldsworth Park Partners joined Lakeview Community Action Group as well as local councillors, Woking Borough Council staff and volunteers to plant 16 British fruit trees, sourced from Longstock Park Nursery to extend a community orchard project.

As well as securing a new habitat for wildlife, the orchard will help the area become more relaxing and enjoyable for residents and, through the Community Action Group will help to educate people and promote healthy living, as well as providing a source of fruit for the residents to use in their community groups.
