Stratford upon Avon (708): Opening

Waitrose Stratford upon Avon opened on 26th July 2012, as enthusiastic shoppers and visitors from a nearby music festival flooded in to the 21,000 sq ft new store.

Branch manager, David Reid, commented that “we’re at the edge of the town and the only big shop in the area, so we have a ready-made audience who have been waiting for us to open. The area is full of Waitrose customers, and people have been travelling long distances to come and shop with us. People have been so enthusiastic about this branch that it can only get bigger and more successful.”

Facilities currently available at Stratford upon Avon include fresh fish, cheese, delicatessen, patisserie, meat, sushi and bakery counters. There is also click and collect, flower wrapping and dry cleaning available.
