Banbury 874: Opening

Waitrose Banbury opened on 25/01/2018.

Waitrose has opened its largest shop in Oxfordshire, in the market town of Banbury.

The branch, which is managed by Daniel Morehead, was officially opened by local MP Victoria Prentis.

The branch has thousands of products on its shelves, as well as those offered on its fresh service counters, including dedicated meat, fish and cheese counters, and a dry aged beef cabinet. There is also a Mai Taiko sushi counter and bakery.

In addition to Quick Check and Click and Collect services, the supermarket also features a café, outdoor seating area and community room, which is free to book for charity events or regular community get-togethers.

Local MP, Victoria Prentis, said:,“I’m delighted to see another well-known retailer choose Banbury as the location for its latest store. With over 120 employees and a room for community use, it’s a brilliant addition to the town.”
