Evesham 303

Opened: 22/11/2018
Built on the site of an old fire station, Waitrose Evesham opened just at the right time for residents of the Worcestershire town. Opening the day before Black Friday, the new branch was able to offer customers a chance to click and collect their John Lewis orders from the branch, something the proved popular leaving Partners believing they could expect a busy Christmas ahead.
Three local children opened the new shop on their birthdays. Tai Camadoo, who turned seven, Penny Upton who turned eight and Nathan Koziol who turned nine, joined branch manager Claire Roumph, Evesham mayor Councillor Mark Goodge, Wychavon District Council chairman Councillor Tony Rowley, and Wychavon leader Councillor Bradley Thomas to cut the ribbon and mark their special days.
Address: Merstow Green, Evesham, WR11 4BD
