Reading: charity event

A sponsored walk was one of a number of events Reading Partners  undertook to raise money for charity.

GM Bob Matthews, his wife and seven others braved strong winds and rain in October to take part in The Stride for Life, sponsored walk from Marlow to Henley.  They completed the 10-kilometre walk in just 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Other branch activities, including guessing the weight of a cake, made by the Deli SM Anna Scott, and a raffle helped raise a total of £1,009.
